Why we started CloudPhilos
The idea for CloudPhilos began during a conversation at AWS. We (Robin and Muhammad) were speaking with a frustrated customer who felt unsupported by their partner and overcharged for AWS.
By truly listening and providing the attention they deserved, we helped reduce their cloud bill by 30%. One year later, inspired by that experience, CloudPhilos was born.
Nice to meet you! For over 15 years, I held several commercial and consulting positions at Microsoft and AWS. During this time, I gained a deep understanding of both business- and technical challenges in the cloud space.
I co-founded CloudPhilos because I kept seeing businesses struggle with cloud costs and lack of support, especially in the SMB segment. Robin and I wanted to combine our expertise to make cloud spending clearer and fairer for everyone.

I also worked at Wiz as an Enterprise Solutions Engineer. There I saw the same thing, but then with significant security risks instead of high bills.
Seeing the scale of these challenges, I co-founded CloudPhilos with Muhammad to bring our technical expertise to you.
